Relationship

We were introduced to Simonelli IP by a client, Lab Brands Limited (formerly Prontaguerra Ltd), in 2016. We had trade mark applications for LONDON LABS. SKINCARE FOR HAIR in 10 territories worldwide. The United States Patent and Trademark Office raised issues with the application in the United States. We engaged the services of Simonelli IP to represent the client in that territory, because it is necessary to appoint a local agent when issues are raised with a trade mark application in a different territory.

We worked with Simonelli IP to overcome the issues raised with the LONDON LABS. SKINCARE FOR HAIR trade mark. This involved drafting submissions and reviewing and collating evidence of use of our client’s trade mark. Together with Simonelli IP, we ultimately obtained the trade mark registration for the client.

Ongoing Work

Since 2016, we have worked with Simonelli IP, consulting with one another on numerous trade mark applications. We now have an established working relationship. The relationship has been a mutual collaboration to optimise the rights of our respective clients as uniformly and broadly as possible in our international arena.
